Heper Sayar (1998, Turkey) graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Plastic Arts. He also worked in the field of human rights during his undergraduate education and studied at Kadir Has University’s Interdisciplinary Design Master's program. He continues his academic life at the School of Fine Arts, University of Porto, in the Art and Design for Public Spaces Master's Program.
 

Bringing his psychology and social sciences background into his artistic practice, Sayar combines scientific research methods with artistic research. His work examines the evolving relationship between humans and technology, engaging with a range of digital and virtual concepts. Drawing from visual perception, neuroscience, and emerging technological developments, he explores how digital environments and machine-generated processes reshape the boundaries between human and non-humans. In addition to his conceptual works and curatorial practice, he also works in performance and exhibition documentation as well as design.
